Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire MS, Samuel Kurtz, has urged local residents to shop locally this Christmas, following last week’s successful Small Business Saturday campaign.
The event took place on Saturday 3rd December, which Mr Kurtz marked by visiting local businesses in Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire.
He visited several local businesses in Pembroke Dock, including Colwyn’s Sweet Shop, Heart of the Hoof and Lloyd’s Jewellery.
Speaking in a local coffee shop in Pembroke Dock, Samuel said:
“Small Business Saturday is a fantastic celebration of everything that makes our local businesses so special.
“The last few years have been incredibly difficult for our business owners, from pandemic closures to the rise in the cost of energy, we need to be doing everything we can to support small businesses this Christmas.
“But it’s not just at Christmas that these businesses need our support. So now and throughout the year, shop at the fantastic local businesses that Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire has to offer.”
